Centralizing amenities and expanding access.
33 Arch Amenity | Boston, MA
The landlord, CBRE, wanted to expand amenities in the building while ensuring everyone had equal access to them. Rather than spread these spaces throughout the building, VCA helped CBRE centralize them onto one floor featuring a conference room, a pre-function space capable of food and beverage service, locker rooms, and a fitness center.
To distinguish and establish the tone of these areas, VCA embraced a different color scheme in each space. The light woods and blues of the conference room remove a sense of formality while preserving the professionalism of the space. The vibrant color scheme in the fitness center infuses the gym with energy, whereas the bright tones of the locker rooms offer a soothing, post-workout retreat. The delineation of these spaces with color gives each space on the amenity floor a distinct identity and reduces feelings of stagnation as people are encouraged to explore more of their building.
