Week 09: Happy Friday! Take a look at what happened in and out of the office this week at VC.
Founded in 1868, international investment banking and advisory company H.C. Wainwright & Co., brought our team on to design their offices in 1997. The company wanted their space to reflect their confidence and status in their industry. We thus began with a neutral palate blended with cherry wood finishes. These details are elegant and timeless.
A dynamic aesthetic and strategic lighting dominate the feel of our 1998 design for the offices of Citizens Energy Corporation. Using large sweeping curves, we carved space for the company’s daily business activities, as well as their significant art collection.
This Friday, we’re flashing back to 1999 when we designed Boston law firm Lawson & Weitzen’s harbor front office space. The firm’s prime spot on Black Falcon Pier offered a natural ambience for us to develop a space reminiscent of the workplace views.

In 1999, leading in home satellite television provider Pegasus Satellite TV hired our team to design their company headquarters. On the brink of the new millennium, the space was designed with innovation and technology in mind.
In 1999 IKON Office Solutions, a premier high-end copier company, turned to our team to design the space of their new showroom and offices located within a window laden ground floor office in Boston’s financial district. The challenge was to create a space that was more than just a place of business, but rather an architectural reflection of […]
This week we’re heading back to 1996 and an office space that we designed for the Boston branch of commercial real estate firm CB Richard Ellis/Whittier Partners. The company has been a longstanding premier real estate firm in New England for decades.
We’re flashing back to 1995 when we converted the office building of advertising firm Holland-Mark from an outdated early 20th century structure, into a visually striking and modern working space. The company has since changed locations, but many of our design features are still standing today.
