Project Feature – Private Venture Capital Firm
Visnick & Caulfield designed the offices of a life science investment firm that wanted to make its unique art collection of glass sculpture the design focus. The space features a soft, minimal, and neutral palate to suit the artwork and provide a museum-like setting.
The layout was designed with innovation in mind and creates spontaneous collaboration spaces at each intersection equipped with glass markerboards and fabric panels to lessen office disruptions.
Signature live-edge teak tables with hand-carved gold leaf veining and reception desk were created through a collaborative design process and imported from India.
The café takes a more informal approach than the polished reception area and conference rooms with its teal wall graphic and raw-wood, timber ceiling. All elements come together to create a space that speaks to this venture capital firm’s focus on healthcare and life science companies and its determination to foster innovation.
