Private Equity Investor

With a fluctuation of the millennials joining this private equity firm, VC was hired to create a collaborative and interactive space to better suit clients and staff. The design team created an open concept reception area that serves as a gathering place for clients and is an ideal location to host company events. By placing communal areas in the front of the plan, the design allows the firm to maintain a separation between public and private spaces. A contemporary seating area and cafe is centrally located between the conference center and the work space. A ceiling feature adorned with curving LED light strips crowns the seating space, while dark wood flooring provides contrast to shiny white stone tile. Floor-to-ceiling glass office fronts outlined in dark millwork border the exterior perimeter and allow natural light to permeate into the space. Strategic space planning, and an awareness of corporate transparency through design, proves that the finance industry can adapt to an open and collaborative work environment.Read more
