Filler 2Happy Friday! Take a look at what happened in and out of the office this week at VC.

program umnWe hosted an event for the University of Minnesota School of Architecture Boston alumni to announce the school’s new president, Mark Swackhamer.

mustacheThe alumni also gathered to honor former president Ralph Rapson’s 100th birthday, complete with cut out #rapsonstache paper mustaches. We had so much fun hosting the reunion in our office space.

conf 2We added some new pictures to our large conference room wall this week including shots from our projects for UL, Nvidia, PE Investments and Symmons Industries, Inc.. They have added a beautiful gallery feel to the space. d and s at global

VC designers Daniela and Scott hit the road in search of the perfect chair, and this one was too big! The two actually headed out to Toronto with Global Total Office to get a tour of their space. More on their trip to come!

pa 2Our Boston space for Pierce Atwood LLP is almost complete. Designer Faegheh captured this shot of how we divided an informal gathering niche from the rest of the space using a 3Form curved wall.

ama 2Another space nearing completion is Amadeus. VC Marketing Manager Elle and Senior Principal Burt joined members of the J. Calnan team for a walk through of the space.

bentleyJenn from Bentley Mills Inc., took some of our team out for a girls night of nails, wine and hors d’oeuvres. They had so much fun and had to show off their colors the next day. Thanks Jenn!

rachelOur design intern Rachel returned to VC this month. She worked with us during her spring semester and we are thrilled to have her back in the office!

fleetmaticsOn Thursday, we took a trip to our Fleetmatics space. We love the bold look of the reception area.

stretchOur office wellbeing efforts continued this week with a quick stretch over our first cups of coffee this Friday morning. We recommend starting the work day this way!

fe 3VC Principal Sherry visited Wright Architectural Millwork in Northampton where the sculpted wall unit we designed for Financial Engines is in mid-production. We can’t wait for the finished unit be installed in their space.

cath 1Designer Catherine is working on a project at 600 Technology Park in Billerica along with designer Liz. They put together a board earlier this week to send to our client for review.

webinar 2Our marketing team attended a lunchtime webinar hosted by SMPS. They learned about building interactive documents in InDesign and are excited to apply their new knowledge.


Associate Principal Paul is always smiling, even when he’s hard at work. Here he is working on some drawings for our client Instrumentation Laboratory.

filler 7This week also marked the official start of fall and we are so excited to enjoy the crisp weather this weekend with family and friends.
