Design(ers) @ Work: What Happened This Week at VC
Since the New Year
Happy 2015! Take a look at what’s been happening in and out of the office at Visnick & Caulfield since the New Year.
We visited our recently completed space for technology company Amadeus. We will be sharing more about this space next week; stay tuned!
Senior Associate Marilyn and Associate Principal Paul met with one of our clients in our office to choose finishes for their 42,000 SF expansion project.
They also reviewed lighting plans during the meeting. The team had a very productive day!
As always, we have projects in all stages of the design process. Our client’s space at 230 Congress Street is in the beginning shell condition.
Meanwhile, the space for a Burlington based consulting firm that’s making the move to Back Bay is in the midst of construction. You can already see how open and transparent the space is going to be with the use of glass front offices and meeting rooms.
During the visit, Principal Fenglei took this photograph of the construction lighting. You never know where inspiration will strike!
Back at the office, designers Jenna and Faegheh selected finishes for one of their projects together.
And designer Catherine worked on a proposed scheme inspired by pop art and comic strips.
We welcomed our new design intern Sarah to the team and are so excited to have her on board for our winter intern session!
Associate Principal Paul checked up on his common corridor and elevator project a few floors above us in our building, 500 Boylston.
Senior Associate Daniela also took a short walk over to a space she’s working on at 699 Boylston Street.
Designer Faegheh sketched some notes while on a site visit.
The construction of the bleachers in our North Atrium activation of Reservoir Place in Waltham continues to progress.
The first two weeks of the new year have been packed with proposal and interview activity for Senior Principal Bob Caulfield. We’re excited about all of the great projects we are already lining up for 2015.
We celebrated designer Catherine’s birthday together with a delicious fruit tart. Happy Birthday Catherine!
Attending the Colliers event on Trends in the Real Estate Market, VC Marketing Manager Elle Litwinetz chatted with colleague Andrew Feibelman from Fox RPM.
Senior Principal Burt’s daughter Cora took some spectacular shots of our spaces. She captured this one from the new cafe we designed for Berkshire Partners. Two summers ago she created perspectives of the space.
They also checked up on the Tech Lounge we designed in the John Hancock service Manulife’s Boston Headquarters. We were happy to see how successful the space has been!
We hope everyone had a great start to 2015. We have a lot going on this year, and can not wait to share it here. Stay tuned in the next few weeks!
