Design(ers) @ Work: What Happened This Week at VC
Weeks 15 & 16
Happy Friday! Take a look at what happened in and out of the office this week at VC.
Our Tech Lounge design in the John Hancock Building opened its doors to service Manulife’s Boston Headquarters.
We visited the site for the ribbon cutting ceremony and were so happy with the final space. The IT and tech aid center will serve all of the business units located in the building.
Our project for a pharmaceutical and biotech strategy consultant company is in the construction phase. They are moving from Burlington to Back Bay as part of their strategy to attract and retain more members of the city-dwelling millennial generation to their company. Stay tuned for more photos as the space is continued to be built out.
Much of the past two weeks has been spent developing design schemes for numerous clients.
Designer Jenna completed this schematic board for a growth equity firm we’re working with, complete with an eye-popping red carpet.
Senior Associate Scott and Marketing Manager Elle reviewed a presentation for a recent interview.
The North Atrium activation of 1601 Trapelo Road in Waltham is well underway. We are excited to see this new community seating area come to life.
We snapped this incredible shot of Back Bay, the dome of the State house, and the Charles River all from one of our job sites located at One Beacon Street.
VC recently completed this space for technology company Amadeus. Last week, the company hosted HACK@1050 , an event where they invited “college students, developers and serial hackers from all over North America to create travel-inspired applications”. It’s always great to see our spaces being used and enjoyed!
We have been working on some new marketing collateral highlighting our quarter of a century in business!
The firm gathered for a joyous celebration of Partner and Super Designer Fenglei on her birthday, complete with a delicious Chinese sponge cake and egg custards.
Many of our team members attended an AIA lunch and learn with USG to learn about acoustical ceiling products.
Designer Catherine and Associate Principal Paul worked on a set of drawings one day at our office island, a great spot for impromptu collaboration.
We stopped by Equity Office‘s client appreciation event at 222 Berkeley’s Winter Garden. Thank you Equity!
The last two weeks have been busy and productive here at VC. We are ready for a relaxing, and hopefully not freezing, weekend ahead. As always…
