Design(ers) @ Work: End Of January

2016 is off to a great start! New projects are starting while others are nearing completion.

Stratus Technologies’ construction is well underway with the stud walls up and drywall being added. Scott Kligerman, Senior Associate and Project Manager, recently attended a site visit and photographed the progress. You can begin to see the shape of the new conference rooms and spaces where workstations will be.

As we enter our third year of services on the John Hancock/ Manulife multi-phase project of nearly one-million SF, a portion of the 1920’s cut stone façade receives a “resto-modern” treatment as one of our Nation’s Founding Fathers watches over us.

VC is proud to continue our bilateral collaboration across North America, providing design services with 17 other design firms. Our latest partnership is with JPC Architects of Seattle, Washington focusing on a telecommunication giant’s facility in Maine. ONE Global is a coast to coast platform serving clients’ needs, and VC continues to collaborate with its members to create great design beyond Boston.

Vantiv’s renovation and expansion project is just about completed! The furniture for the collaboration spaces has been installed, carpet and wall coverings have been mounted and workstations are ready to be assembled. The finished space reflects the firm’s culture, branding and open office concept. Professional photography will be scheduled soon!

In other news, Red Thread’s Katie Grimes and Koroseal’s Chelsey Velozo hosted a “Designer Fight Night” at The Club by George Foreman. This was a great opportunity to network with our peers within the industry before breaking a sweat!
