Designer Feature – Scott Kligerman

Scott has been a part of Visnick and Caulfield since August of 2005 and has been a major player on the V&C team ever since. Ever since he was a kid, Scott has been fascinated by buildings, forms, shapes, and materials. Motivated by his lifelong fascination with architecture, Scott received his Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Wentworth Institute and has been working in design ever since.

Throughout his 15 years of experience, Scott has fine-tuned his design process into three major elements: “A wide angle lens captures the project as a whole, sharp focus brings clarity and dimension to the developing plan, and zoomed in macro shots show how things come together and the way in which everything is related.” The foundation and starting point of this process is of course identifying the genesis of the clients “need for change or improvement”

Scott finds great fulfilment in finding ways to overcome design challenges and coming up with innovative solutions, but ultimately, there is nothing Scott loves more than seeing the end result. Scott believes that “there’s nothing more gratifying than walking through the completed space with a client and taking it all in.”

In addition to architecture and interior design, Scott also has a passion for art. In his free time, Scott uses art as an outlet, creating stunning parametric art forms.
