Cora has been with V&C formally for 5 years but she has been immersed in the world of architecture and design since childhood. Growing up on job sites and using floor plans as coloring books, Cora fell in love with watching drawings and plans come to life in the form of beautiful, functional spaces.
After receiving a Bachelors of Architecture from the College of Architecture, Art, + Planning at Cornell University, Cora continued her education at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, + Preservation earning her MS in Real Estate Development. Her background in both architecture and real estate coupled with her impeccable work ethic and positive attitude makes her a valuable asset to any team.
A true people person, Cora finds consistent inspiration from working with her team. She finds fulfillment by learning from her mentors and has quickly become a mentor herself, always ready and willing to help others in the Visnick & Caufield family.
At the foundation of Cora’s design process is discovering the clients “why.” Before diving into a project, Cora takes the time to carefully consider the problems her client is having with their current space in order to get to the root of the issue and address these challenges with the most effective design solutions.
When she’s not in the office quality testing fabric samples or engaging with clients over Zoom, Cora likes to unwind by escaping to the mountains. She spends her weekends skiing, saying that “a good ski day with fresh snow clears my head and gets me ready for Monday morning meetings!”
